Hi friends, Liberty here (one of the adoptable pups available at FCRSPCA)! 💜 I may be a playful puppy, but even I know that Labor Day weekend comes with some important safety rules for dogs!

🍔 Skip the table scraps: Grills and cookout foods can be dangerous for curious pups.

🔥 Stay away from the grill: Hot surfaces, grease, and skewers = NOPE!

🎆 Keep fireworks away: Loud noises can scare dogs, so keep us safely indoors.

🚪 Watch those doors: With guests coming and going, make sure your pup can’t make a great escape!

💧 Stay cool & hydrated: Fresh water and a shady spot are a must for outdoor fun.

🐾 Give us a quiet place: Crowds can be overwhelming, so make sure your dog has somewhere calm to relax.

Lincoln is a 6-month-old mixed breed puppy with a handsome face, a sweet personality, and all the playful energy you'd expect from a growing boy! 💜

At 29 pounds, Lincoln is an active youngster who is ready for a family committed to helping him learn and grow. He’ll thrive with patient, positive training, plenty of exercise, enrichment, and continued socialization as he navigates all the adventures of puppyhood.

Lincoln is still learning about the world—including how to meet unfamiliar dogs—and will need slow introductions to help build his confidence. He may also guard food and toys from other dogs, but he’s comfortable sharing with people.

With the right guidance, this sweet, energetic pup has all the potential to become an amazing best friend. 🥰

Upcoming Rabies Clinic – September 12th! 🐾

Keep your pets protected! The Montgomery County Health Department will be holding a free rabies vaccination clinic for Montgomery County residents on:

⏰ 9:00–11:00 AM
📍 St. Johnsville Town Barn
7431 Route 5, St. Johnsville

The clinic is free for Montgomery County residents, with a suggested $10 donation.

Rabies vaccinations are required for dogs, cats, and ferrets. If you're revaccinating your pet, be sure to bring their most recent rabies vaccination certificate.

Don’t forget - a valid rabies vaccination is required to attend our community pet food pantry! 💜
