Sienna - Red/Black California Peruvian Sow

A fun update on Sienna! Unfortunately her cage mate is a chewer so her coat isn’t as long and pretty as it should be. Also a picture of her beside Macchiato to showcase how gorgeous the cream and red look side by side.

A little update on these two babies!!!

The boar on the left has darker points than I expected. I’m watching him closely to see if they’re chocolate or something else! He certainly appeared chocolate based at birth.

The sow on the right is definitely developing chocolate points. She is going to be stunning!!!

I also realized I never named these two! Their brother, Ristretto, already went to his new home. He was black based for sure so I didn’t hold onto him as I didn’t have the space for two extra boars right now.

Alessandra - Red eye Orange and White Peruvian Sow

This is my beautiful keeper sow out of Salvia and Dolfin. She is an alpaca carrier. I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of her white face. I prefer the solid color faces over the white markings. But she is beautiful, and will be my only keeper out of Salvia before she goes to help another Caviary this year!

New Litter Announcement! Dilute Texels!!!

I’ve been waiting for this litter; both with excitement and some trepidation. Eliana, my beautiful Lilac&White sow had a litter of three last time who lived to be 6days old before I lost them. I’m so thankful for this litter, and excited! But I will be keeping a close eye on them and Mama to be sure they’re doing good for the next week. Thankfully this time around Eliana has a helper in her aunt, Patty, who had the four TSW babies. They can share babies and hopefully everyone will get enough milk to thrive! I still have one rainbow Texel sow due, Hagar. This will be her first litter so I’m hoping she does well!

I will be thinking carefully over names for these three. I want to stick with my Bible theme of names that go with Abram, Sarai, and Hagar. I’d love ideas if you have any! Not your normal Bible/Hebrew/Arabic names but the more uncommon ones. So far for this line I’ve used:

Abram, Sarai, Hagar, Isaac, Ishmael, Eliana.

New Litter Announcement! TEXELS!

Pattie finally released her hostages. I’ve been eyeing her for the past couple weeks now! She got pretty big; and no wonder. Four babies! All beautiful TSW. Three boars and one sow.

I think it’s boar season! That or I’m holding back all the sows. One or the other!

Here is an updated picture list of all the available baby boars listed on my website!

They are currently housed together (if already weaned) so can go in boar pairs as pets. I also have a couple adult boars retiring that are listed as well. They can be paired with any of the babies before going to new homes.

Emma and Lexie are the only two sows currently available!

My baby girl and her baby bunny.

I’m biased, but I think she is the prettiest! And that bunny sure does suit her.

I haven’t named this bunny yet; and I’m not sure what or if Celia will name her. I guess we’ll just wait and see.

The bunny is spicy just like the little girl!

Sugar and Spice and all things Nice certainly fits this duo!
