One of the interesting things about becoming a non profit a year ago is that we are considered a young non profit and aren't eligible for a number of foundations and grants programs. Most want three years of tax reports and we only have one. So, that means we rely on the generosity of local businesses, community groups, individuals etc. When we started TLA volunteer work three years ago as just us, we were doing some visits here and there and funding it all from personal resources. Unfortunately, our personal resources are only able to cover some of what we would like to do. So, we opted to become a 501 C 3. Our IRS first anniversary date was June 7th this year. It's time for us to push forward with expanding our outreach and start pursuing our dreams of working with children on the spectrum, those with ADHD, those with Downs. To do this, we need support so we can host on site day camps with interactive experiences. It's a bit like setting up on outdoor classroom with activities for kids of all types. So, that being said, we could use your support! Here is our amazon wish list again or, if you prefer, PM us for a monetary donation. Thank you for considering us!

We have a DREAM of expanding our equine learning program to children through on site day camps. We are particularly interested in outreach to children on the spectrum, ADHD, Downs and involving them in these camps. However, it's a big leap for us because of the equipment, supplies etc we need to have. We have the space, the arena, the barn, the back porch, we have our time, but there is a lot that must go into it. So, we are here asking for your help in procuring supplies for these events. We need everything from stick horses to crayons to stickers, etc. Here is our Amazon wishlist if you would like to donate. Please help us if you can!

In the cool of the morning, the minis had the zoomies. I caught Alfie flying! All 34” of him in the air and tail flying! His shadow was leading the way. A horse in full motion is truly poetry in motion!

Last Sunday, we joined Brian from Assisteo Hospice visiting new friends at Heart of Compassion Assisted Living. The residents and particularly the caregivers loved meeting him! Snip decided he liked the pets so much that he fell asleep again on the job! You can see him getting some shut eye in the pic.
