Preparing ahead of time can help ensure a safe and stress-free holiday for everyone. Here are a few tips to get your home ready:

🎇 Verify that your pet’s microchip information is current, including owner contact information and any important medical conditions.

🎇 Create a quiet, secure space away from the commotion where your pet can retreat. Consider using calming music, white noise, or television to help muffle outdoor sounds.

🎇If your pet benefits from anti-anxiety or fear free medications, be sure to refill prescriptions in advance and follow your veterinarian’s recommendations for administration before and during the holiday.

🎇Most importantly, keep pets indoors. Even well-behaved pets can become startled by fireworks and attempt to escape.
