Hi, this is Laura the owner of Lauras critter care. I thought I would put a message on Facebook. We’ve had several people including clients reaching out to us making sure we are OK thank you for your concerns. I guess we showed up on the Amherst scanner a couple of times. We had a tornado/tornado like weather come through my property which is where Laura’s Critter Care home office is. A huge tree went down and hit our house and came through the living room windows. We had powerlines down a lot of damage other trees down in the yard, roof, gutter and siding damage, windows busted around the house, wiped out our air conditioner, etc. It literally sounded like a freight train coming through and we were pretty much right in the middle of it. We sought cover in a bedroom closet. My family and pets who were all home are oK we’re just very shook up. All the first responders were wonderful. The gas and electric company was wonderful and our son-in-law was wonderful to come out and help us late last night. It’s quite a process with all the cleanup. It’s gonna take some time but I wanted to thank everyone that’s been reaching out wondering if we need anything as of right now we’re completely fine. What matters is that my family is safe and they all are. ❤️
