Meet gorgeous and oh so sweet, Ruby! Ruby is a 7 year old purebred Border Collie girl, who once was a Show Dog, living the life. We have no idea when things first went in a sad direction for her, but at some point her owners who loved her, became too ill to take care of her and one went into Hospice Care.
As you can see in her pictures, Ruby is way too overweight, but that can be remedied with proper nutrition and appropriate exercise for her Breed. She has been to our Vet and she is very healthy, considering.
She is spayed, no obvious orthopedic issues (besides caring excess weight), good bloodwork, Heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, and groomed (which she loved!)
Ruby is an all around great girl, but she would prefer to be the only female dog in the family, as most female BC’s do! She does great with the two male dogs and the resident cat, at her foster’s home.
Ruby is being fostered in Middle TN and as always, we will require a fenced yard.
