This is "Gator", one yr old bc boy. Gator was lost on the streets of southern AL and was rescued but is now in the shelter. He needs a foster or foster to adopt commitment and then we can rescue him.
The shelter says he is a "velcro dog " who loves head scratches and belly rubs and has excellent recall.
We don't want this young boy to run out of time in the shelter.

Look at this gentle face. This is "Ash" and we recently rescued him after he wandered, lost, up to a home in MS. Ash was pretty neglected and sad. The vet said that he's about 6-7 years old, has heartworms, needs dental work and needs alot of TLC.
We had to find a foster that would give commit to him through his treatment for heartworms and give him the safety and love he so badly needed. A wonderful family stepped up.
Ash has proven to be a gentle, child loving, other dog loving, and be by your side kind of boy.
His treatment will take some time and alot of $. When he is healthy again, he will be available for adoption to a special family out there somewhere, In the meantime, donations for his care can be made via PayPal on our website at www.bordercollierescuewesttn.org.
Any funds donated will go directly to his care and we'll keep the updates coming.
