I have found it hard to find a job that works around the kids school schedule and a husband who has odd hours at work. Pet sitting fits right in. I love all kinds of animals, it's flexible and I can bring my kids with me. I've been pet sitting for quite a few years now, I have taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, hamster, horses, pigs, rabbits, a hedgehog, a bearded dragon,birds,cows,goats,sheep a

nd a few donkeys. I have also had pets of my own, I have had dogs and cats. My kids love to come help me out if they are allowed to. My daughter's were in 4H for a few years, they use to show goats at the fair, they know how to milk goats. Eventually I'd like to get into more farm sitting, I'd love to work with cows. I am an honest and reliable person. I'm available almost all the time. I pet sit at the person's house, I feel that animals are more comfortable in their own surroundings. I travel to Northern Dutchess County (Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, Milan, Barrytown) and Southern Columbia County (Livingston, Germantown, Clermont, Elizaville) I have affordable prices and great references. Along with taking care animals, I house sit. When people go away, I visit the house and make sure everything is okay. I check the mail or wait at the house if someone is expecting a package, I bring in the mail and water plants. I am an honest and reliable person. I'm available almost all the time.
