We are incredibly honored to be apart of the Speckle Park family! It has been one of the greatest experiences of my (Ali’s) life getting to know and work with this incredible group of breeders. Excited to be a small piece in propelling the Speckle Park breed forward!

Please welcome our new Vice President Ali Wright. Ali is a dedicated cattle producer and active member of the American Speckle Park Association (ASPA).

Alongside her husband, Colton Wright, Ali owns and operates Cross W Cattle, a registered Speckle Park breeding operation based in Gering, Nebraska. The Wright family is deeply involved in the Speckle Park community, participating in regional and national cattle events and contributing to the promotion of this distinctive Canadian-origin breed in the United States.

Ali is known for her commitment to breed development and youth involvement in agriculture. She has been an active supporter of the ASPA nationals sales and ASPA magazine. Most recently, she consigned the Supreme Champion bull to the 3rd Annual ASPA event, wrote the Wright Initiative article in our first publication, and remains a valuable resource for those interested in Speckle Park genetics.

For more information about Cross W Cattle or to connect with Ali, she can be reached at [email protected] or (605) 254-2747

We are on fire for the Speckle Park breed here in Western Nebraska, but we are even more fired up after listening to this interview! This might be the best piece of media we have come across that answers the question Why Speckle Park? In a thought provoking conversation, Dennis shares years of wisdom and experience in the beef industry. His experience ultimately led his operation to integrate Speckle Park into their herd. Thank you JAD Speckle Park and Minnamurra Speckle Park for your efforts to propel the breed forward and making stories like this available to us across the world! Dennis Power is General Manager of one of the largest Speckle Park stud and commercial herds in the world, Minnamurra Speckle Park. Based at Coolah in Central West NSW, Minnamurra Speckle Park has played a pivotal role in demonstrating the commercial relevance of the Speckle Park breed, winning various feedback trials and carcase competitions. Not once, or twice, but many times – dating back as far as 2013.

The consistently outstanding performance of Minnamurra Speckle Park cattle in these competitions has gone a long way to proving that the Speckle Park breed is no fad, but is instead a breed with true commercial merit – and it is justifiably here to stay.

The breed eats less feed than Wagyu, grows quicker and tastes just as good. And get this – we’ve got the biggest stud numbers in the world.

Welcome to Nebraska - Grahman Creek Lilli 16L and Grahman Creek Lignite 24L! These two were also acquired during our time in Oklahoma City! These 2 are quite the addition of some powerful genetics to our program. We are excited to watch these girls go to work and are looking forward to their calves coming this spring!

Thank you Grahman Creek Ranch - Mike Minshull and crew for the opportunity to own these females! Your efforts to bring your best stock to the states year after year doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for supporting our program and the Speckle Park breed in America with your consistently quality genetics.

Welcome to Nebraska - BRF Sparta 02L! We acquired this beauty at the sale in Oklahoma City! She has settled in here nicely and is quite the stand out among our females! We’re looking forward to her first calf this spring.

Thank you Blue Ridge Farms - Bill Hewat and crew for giving us the opportunity to own this female! They did a great job developing this heifer into the cow making kind! We are excited for her future!
