🐾 Rabies is serious. Prevention matters.

Rabies poses a serious risk for both dogs and cats, as well as you and your family. Even pets that spend most or all of their time indoors can still be at risk from wildlife that enters the home or yard. Fortunately, rabies is preventable with routine pet vaccinations.

Keeping your pet’s rabies vaccination up to date and maintaining accurate records is important. A scratch, bite, or altercation with another animal can require proof of your pet’s current rabies vaccination. Without proper records, if rabies testing is necessary, it can only be performed after euthanasia.

🐾❤️ NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL SENIOR DOG MONTH! Meet Nora! ❤️🐾
This November, we're shining a little extra love on the senior pups who are still waiting for their happily-ever-after. Senior dogs have SO much love left to give, and Nora is proof that sometimes the sweetest souls just need someone to believe in them.

Meet Nora, an approximately 8-year-old Retriever mix weighing in at 66 pounds of pure potential love! 🐶

Nora's story isn't an easy one. She and a 14-year-old Shih Tzu were left out on the streets after their owner was evicted. Sadly, they were left there for an entire WEEK before anyone was able to assist them. We can't imagine how frightening and confusing that must have been for these two sweet souls.

But Nora is safe now, and Amy’s Angels Dog Rescue is determined to find her the forever home she deserves! ❤️

“When Nora first arrived, she was incredibly fearful and anxious. She wasn't sure she could trust anyone, and she wanted nothing to do with other dogs. But with time, patience, and a little love, we've watched her blossom!”

Once Nora feels comfortable and knows she's safe, her true personality shines. She will shower you with affection and give you all the love in the world! She just needs someone willing to let her settle in at her own pace and show her that she never has to worry about being left behind again.
