Dr. Moreland and Logan had the pleasure of meeting Rocket today; a tiny and lovable 11 week old Boston Terrier. He instantly stole our hearts with his puppy belly and squishy face! Rocket was the perfect patient for his puppy vaccines and toenail trim, and was a huge fan of cheese (can you blame him??).

Thank you to Rocket’s paw-rents for trusting us to care for your new sweet baby! 🐾🫶🏼

Great update: Pita has found his forever home! We wish him and his family all the best with your new addition. 🥹

The cat distribution system blessed the clinic with this sweet 8w baby boy that we’ve been calling Pita! He has been staying at the clinic, but he is ready for his forever home! He will be going home parasite free with his first set of vaccine boosters, and we will neuter and microchip him when he is about ~20w (5-6 months old). He’s great with other cats, dogs, and kids! Please contact the clinic for more information! 🐱🐾

📣 Turnip is ready to grow with her fur-ever family! Turnip has been vacationing at the hospital for about two weeks now and has been having sleepovers with our techs. She is an ~18w Boxer mix. She will be fully vaccinated and sent with heartworm/flea prevention when she is adopted. All applicants will be reviewed to ensure she goes to the paw-fect home. She does well with other dogs, cats, and kids and is very snuggly! We are asking a rehoming fee that will go towards the care BAH has given her in her time here. Our newest staff member in training: Stanley, a ~7 week old kitty with cerebellar hypoplasia (commonly known as CH). Due to his brain not fully developing, Stanley is a bit wobbly (and slow to answer the phones), but that doesn’t stop him from living out his best kitty life!

CH in cats most commonly occurs when momma cat has feline distemper and passes it on to her kittens. Though Stanley is expected to live a long, normal life, and the cause of his CH can’t quite be determined, he is a great example of why we recommend spaying and vaccinating our kitties - even if they’re indoor only! 🐈‍⬛🐾
