We offer a state-of-the-art boarding facility for cats, dogs and beyond, as well as all phases of training, both group and private and groooming services by appointment. We also have an exclusive line of pet produts and we are home to the famous Yappy Hour. After hours emergency pick up and drop off is available for a fee by appointment.

Kanan’s story begins with heartbreak. He was the beloved companion of Amanda Thompson, a devoted mother of four whose life was tragically taken in an act of domestic violence. Her passing shook the Buffalo community—and left Kanan grieving and unsure of his place in the world. 💔

Thanks to Against All Oddz Animal Alliance, Kanan is now safe. In the quiet of our sanctuary, he has been slowly decompressing and showing us who he truly is: a gentle, sensitive, and deeply loving boy who just needs time to trust again.

Despite his trauma, Kanan has shown nothing but grace. He can be timid with new people—especially men—but with patience and kindness, he quickly warms up. He has lived peacefully with dogs, cats, and children, and we know he will thrive in a calm, compassionate home that understands he may need a little extra time to adjust.

✨ Once Kanan feels safe, his sweet and playful personality shines. He loves affection, playtime, and simply being near his people.

Kanan isn’t the kind of dog who will walk in and immediately be the life of the party. But he is brave, resilient, and ready to bloom with the right family. He deserves to be seen not as broken—but as the brave survivor that he is.
