Finished up our last camp of the summer with a great group of kiddos. This was a Farm STEM camp filled with morning riding and afternoon STEM. Now to get ready for Field Trip season🤗

Our Girl is Off to College 🎓

Yesterday we sent Ary off to SUNY Cobleskill, and this one hits a little differently. 💙 I first met Ary in 2020 as a shy, horse-crazy kid taking riding lessons. I don’t think either of us knew then just how much life we’d do together. I’ve watched that shy kid grow into an incredible rider and horsewoman, take on project horses of her own, and eventually become someone I trusted to stand beside me as my Assistant Trainer. I couldn’t be prouder of her, or of everything she and her horse, KK, have accomplished together.

Somewhere along the way, she went from my student, to my employee, to my right hand and mini me… but more than anything, she became family. She’s been beside me through building Blue Jay Meadows, countless lessons, camps and training rides, and even stood beside me on my wedding day. Ary, it has truly been an honor to be by your side through all of it and watch you become the person you are today.

Thankfully, it’s not really goodbye… we still get her back on the weekends😉 But the weekdays around here definitely won’t be the same. Go do big things, Ary. You’ll always have a home here 💙🐴🎓

Just had to share some of the amazing photos taken at our 2026 Summer Series Finale by our very own Aliyah. Aliyah has been off horse back due to an injury for quite a while but her love of riding and horses is clear through the camera lens! Thank you Aliyah for all you do for Blue Jay Meadows!
