While our current case is confidential and I can’t share our horses just yet, here’s what I can share:
We have 8 new horses that all had to be fully vetted today- intake exams, Coggins, 6 way, rabies, strangles, medicated shampoos, sheath cleanings, etc. Our bill with is $2875.40
Tomorrow is farrier day which is another $400.
PLEASE help us take care of these horses & everyone else that’s on our property and let’s pay off this bill!

We are in need of foster homes within 30 miles of Gallatin, TN. If you have available pasture space with shelter and can provide care for two or more horses, we need YOU! You will need to be able to provide transportation from our facility in Gallatin to your property. You will have to furnish hay and feed as determined by our veterinarian at your own expense. We can pay for hoof, dental, and veterinary care furnished by our professionals on a case by case basis. If you think you would qualify, please complete the adoption application on our web site www.veatn.org Horses page and comment that you can foster. We will get back to you as soon as possible

Autumn enjoying getting her feet trimmed!
We enjoy an “open bar” policy with many of horses, meaning that if they stand quietly and with their head to themselves they can have has much hay (or hay pellets) as they want during a trim, especially at first.
It helps our nervous horses and our young horses create positive associations with uncomfortable situations & it will eventually truly change how they think about the situation.

Poppy was fostered a few months ago with baby Esther (now Periwinkle) and was meant to come back when Perrie was weaned, but as a surprise to absolutely *nobody* foster moms Trista and Lily fell in love with Poppy and asked to adopt her too 🙌🏻
We love a good foster fail!
Poppy is having a little R&R before some training time while weaning Perrie, and then they’ll all be reunited once again, along with previous VEA alums Margo, Ivy, and Ruby! (+donkey siblings Flash, Finley, and Fiona)

We couldn’t ask for anything better!

This morning we received a call for assistance from Horse Haven of Tn. They were gearing up for a law enforcement seizure in Fentress County, about 2 hours from us. Sorry i didnt take the time to post but we gathered our team and headed out to meet them. We only had trailer room for 8 but we are almost back to the farm now to unload. Horse Haven hauled 19 back to their farm in Seymour. Now the work begins, vet visits, farrier visits, dentals.
If you want to help us get these horses rehabilitated go to our website
