She’s handy! She’s got the smoothest ride of any quarter horse I’ve been on in a while! A beautiful short lope! She’s full of personality and I absolutely am in love with her! She does everything I ask her to and she’s really quick to learn new things I teach her! She’s very soft in the mouth and works best on a loose rein.

Ruby!

With a lot of back and forth I decided to go ahead list Miss Ruby! I’ll go ahead and say, she hasn’t been with us for to long, just a few months now. I purchased her as a barrel horse prospect, but the more I work with her the more I realize she might not have the grit I am needing for this event. She’s a great girl! She doesn’t have a spook in her, she’s great with kids, horses and ponies! Just a very honest sweet loving little mare. Her only thing that’s seemingly not working out for what I had in mind for her is that she is a little on the lazy side. She’s more to with the flow. I believe she would make a great first horse for somebody, or even a small time saddle club/fair/4-H horse for kid, most definitely a trail horse. She doesn’t seem to be phased by much of anything so I can even see her being a light ranch work horse.

She really is an outstanding girl, just needs her own person!

He’s got the style, he’s got the papers, he’s got the personality, he’s got the training! I’m excited to introduce to “Biggie”!

Biggie is a 4 year old AQHA gelding. He’s broke to ride and has been started on pushing cows, barrel pattern, reining and has had a rope thrown off him a time or two! He’s you’re typical young boy! Has a great head on his shoulders and is ready to get to work! Rarely do I get a horse that loves to learn and is so quick to pick things up! He will be an excellent horse for someone who is ready to retire their current horse and need an up and comer! He’s already started so he is ready to be taken the rest of the way!

If you are looking for talent and flash then stop your search! I am really excited about being able to offer our very own "Diesel"!

Diesel is a grade paint quarter horse and a proven ranch horse! He is the head horse to our heel horse "Big Sexy" who is also still available and listed on our page as well. He is push button and knows his job. We have also played around with ranch cutting and sorting and he does amazing! If you are wanting a cow horse (or a goat horse, pig, buffalo, mustang, if you can rope it he will drag it!) this is your guy! He is fearless! He would also make an excellent horse for someone to learn on as well (such as myself, because I do not hide the fact I am not the best roper) and you can focus more on sharpening your skill instead of worrying about the horse. He does great in a group or on his own. One of the best traits this guy has goes hand in hand with his fearlessness because (for example) on trail rides if you have a horse that won't cross a creek or go down a certain trail, Diesel is the guy you send in first to show the others there isn't anything to worry about! I really truly cannot say enough great things about this horse!

I am super excited to be able to offer this good looking guy! “Pretty Boy” is ready for his forever trail partner!

Pretty Boy is an amazing saddle horse. His gait is smooth as silk! So smooth you can balance a freshly opened coke can on his back end and take off down the road and it won’t spill! He is super sweet with excellent ground manners and will follow you around like a puppy! His favorite thing is behind the ear scratches! You get that spot behind his ear and it’s hysterical how much he enjoys it! Now I will say this, as of right now he is not a beginners horse. When you first hop on he is ready to go! He won’t blow up, he has an excellent stop and won’t take off with anybody, he is not cold backed by any means but his excitement when you first swing that leg over I believe may be a bit much for an inexperienced rider or someone who doesn’t have that much confidence in their skill just yet. With that being said though, with more miles under his girth and consistency and bonding with someone, it will not take long for this sweet boy to overcome that! If you’re a confident rider looking for a flashy, fun all around horse to hit the trails with this summer than Pretty Boy is your guy!

Pumpkin has the build and the mindset to do anything you ask of him! He is a very easy to catch in the field, calm as can be, very forgiving, and sweet as pumpkin pie! Pumpkin would make an excellent step up horse for a young rider, or a nice trail horse for anybody! He yields off leg pressure, trained to side step to a mounting block, neck reins, you name it, pumpkin can do it! He’s an excellent ranch roping horse and can push a cow from a to b like it’s second nature. Nothing phases this sweet boy! If you can sit in the saddle, you can ride Pumpkin!

HEY HOLLYWOOD 😎

This stunning guy is up for consideration! We call him
Hollywood because it just fits him! He’s big, flashy, animated, and an absolute dream boat! If you are looking for something to stunt in, this stunning gentleman is your man!

Hollywood is an American Saddlebred gelding. I have misplaced his registration papers so as of now we are offering him as grade. I cannot say enough things about this horse! He is fit for the show ring but his favorite thing to do is trails! We trail ride all our horses but something about the trail for Hollywood, I can’t explain it, he just loves it! He gets excited and can go for hours and still want more! He does have a lot of get up and go but with that he is also just a pocket pet! He’s one of the first to greet you at the gate and really enjoys his pampering time (brushing down, feet picked and baths) and he will sparkle like a brand new penny!! Anybody can ride him, and has an excellent stop but like I mentioned he really does like to go, so keep that in mind. He is shod all the way around with small trail pads on the front.

Looking for something that is a jack of all trades? Then allow me to introduce you to our ”Jack”!

Jack got his name because he is literally a jack of all trades, but not a master at anything specific. What do I mean by that? I mean this horse has literally dabbled in a bit of EVERYTHING! Trails, cows, rodeo, jumping, dressage, roping, trails, hunting, you name it hes at least done it once! If you are looking for a great all around horse but unsure which direction you yourself want to go in, and want to try a few different things? Then Jack is hands down your guy! Maybe you know exactly what you want to do but it’s not any one specific thing? Jack is the one horse wonder! He will do it all and make you proud! His color is just that extra little cherry on top of a great horse!

River is our AQHA Registered gelding. He is that horse that would fit absolutely anybody! Have a young kid that’s ready to step up from that pony into the stirrup of something more disciplined? River is your guy! Are you a more experienced rider ready for a fine tuned horse that will take you to the next level? River can get you there! Wanting something husband proof? What about something the whole family can share? River will baby sit your kid during warmup and cool down and will step it into high gear and show out when you ride! He’s just an amazing all around horse that will take care of anybody that is on his back! His base discipline is reining so he will stop and spin on a dime. He one finger neck reins in a loose rein and is also very responsive to leg pressure cues. My daughter has an absolute ball riding this fella (I know the tack get up is a little wonky but my girl insisted she ride him in her saddle lol which is just a testament to his gentle nature, especially with kids because it didn’t phase him one bit!) These winter pictures don’t do my man justice either! River is a beautiful line backed dun!

Armani here has the best of both his mom and his dad! He’s got the looks, the movement, the personality! This horse will take you anywhere you want to go! He would excel in the Dressage ring and jumping! He’s fearless and one of my absolute favorites to take on the trail! He’s has that beautiful animated gate you see from both breeds, and an absolute dream to ride!! This horse will work hard for you and picks things up so quickly! Double Stuff here is a draft cross gelding and you want to talk about a little horse a personality that matches the size of that specific feature every draft horse lover loves about drafts! He is broke to ride and has done a little bit of everything just for the fun of it!He is a very easy catch and I just adore this big little horse! In true draft horse fashion, we here at the farm treat him like a puppy dog because he’s just so cute and fluffy and gives the best hugs!!! He is shod all the way around and is ready for his next big adventure!

I know this question will be asked, is he broke to drive? The answer honestly is I’m not sure. When he came to us we never thought to ask that question since driving isn’t something we do here, but given his sweet personality and willingness to do what is asked of him, it wouldn’t surprise me that he would be very easy to break to a cart (if he doesn’t already know how)

I am excited to introduce to you all a young up and comer! This is "Buck"! Don't worry though, he doesn't have a buck in him!

This beautiful boy is broke to ride and has a solid foundation, he just hasn't been formally trained in any specific discipline yet. He has excellent ground manners as well as under saddle though and he is ready to go in any direction! I would not consider him a beginner's horse, however, if you can ride, you can ride this guy! He is a lot of fun and has beautiful movement! If you are wanting to finish a horse yourself, this your guy! He's fast so I can definitely see barrel racing (which the longer he stays with us, that will be the direction I take him), roping, ranching, cattle work, etc... anything faced paced and competitive would be a great fit! He of course would also make a nice trail horse as well, which is mostly what he has been doing at this time. He will go up and down anything anything as well as cross water and trudge through mud! He is a youngster too so he has his whole life ahead of him!

Up for consideration is our sweet Ellie May!

Looking for something a little different? Ellie here is our registered CURLY Quarter Horse! This isn't something we normally do, but we swooped in and saved this girl from an uncertain future and I am so glad we did! She is just the sweetest thing, which is how she got her barn name! She is just an absolute puddin cup! Calm as can be and everybody here adores her! Despite whatever may have happened in her past, she does not allow it to affect her present or future! She loves people and attention and cuddles! She is broke to ride and my little ones have a ball just crawling all over her and playing games. We joke and say we have a cow on our horse farm right now because that is exactly what she looks like with those curls and that big quarter horse head and jaw! I would really like for her to go to a family who will continue to love her the way we do here! She does not have anything medically wrong with her, she just older and needs continued TLC. She would make a great companion horse, pet, or for someone with a young child who would like to learn to ride and take it slow and easy.

Her registered name is "Dark Chocolate Twist", out of "Skips Twist N Shout" on the top side and "LF Peppys Jaguar Kit" on the bottom side.

Oh boy! Look what we have here!! You want to talk about a fancy looking mule! Everybody this is "Skipper"!

Skipper is the trail king! He will climb any mountain, cross any fallen tree and water! He will even power through a little deer trail or make his own if you asked him to! He is a fun little guy that is for sure! Even though we have only used him for trails, he would make an excellent sport mule! He is quick, agile and sure footed! He has had 60 days professional training where they broke him to a cart (I am not to familiar with training an animal to drive which is why we sent him away, because why not make him to best he can be right?) and he did amazing! He doesn't mind his ears touched and doesn't have a kick or buck in him! He is an excellent little fella that is for sure and he will make whomever brings him home so so happy!
