We are an all-volunteer group of dog lovers who rescue and rehabilitate pit bull type dogs. We also do shelter and owner support and education and outreach projects. We have weekly adoption events at Petco (6869 W. in Gainesville) and at Earthwise Pet Jonesville (14029 W Newberry Rd. in Newberry) on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm, where you can meet our adoptable dogs. We are always looking for volunteers, including people who can provide foster homes, exercise and train dogs, volunteer at adoption events, help with fundraising, and contribute in other ways. ✨ Happy Tails, Binks! ✨
A few months ago, Binks was found wandering alone, underweight, exhausted, and carrying the scars of an unimaginably difficult past. Today, he's thriving. ❤️
From 30 pounds to a healthy 45, heartworm treatment underway, and surrounded by love, Binks has shown everyone what true resilience looks like. Despite everything he's endured, he greets the world with kindness, making friends with people, dogs, and even cats along the way.
While his appearance tells part of his story, it certainly doesn't define him. Binks is happy, playful, and living life to the fullest! We think he's absolutely perfect just as he is. 🐾
Thank you to everyone who helped Binks on his journey. We can't wait to share more of his adventures with you!
