Hello, all. A few days ago, we received the sad news of Bella's passing. Bella was adored by her humans, Dorothy and Terry. A source of book writing inspiration for Dorothy, "The Pitbull Who Said Yes" (https://a.co/d/64hTIwp). Dorothy and Terry have been some of our most dedicated supporters and champions for the "pit bull" breed. RIP, sweet Bella.

Meet Homie 💛 Found tied to a dumpster in Orange County, FL, he arrived in our care with a tough medical condition that made eating painful and difficult. With treatment, he’s now eating great and looks amazing!

Homie loves toys (especially destroying them), is quiet indoors, crate trained, affectionate, and friendly with everyone — even the vet staff. He’s eager to please and incredibly food-motivated.

On Giving Tuesday, we are asking you to be part of a miracle—for a dog who was moments from losing his life.

Homie was found tied to a dumpster in Orange County—abandoned, alone, and suffering. At Orange County Animal Services, he was scheduled for euthanasia due to overwhelming medical issues: a painful eye ulcer, entropion, masticatory myositis, and severe underweight.

Because one incredible foster stepped forward, Homie was pulled just in time. He is now safe, receiving medical treatment, gaining weight, and finally experiencing kindness and comfort. He will still need surgery to correct his entropion and continued medical care in the weeks ahead.

This Giving Tuesday, your donation does more than give, it saves lives. Homie’s journey is far from over, but thanks to you, it is no longer ending too soon. Together, we can make sure his story doesn’t stop at survival but leads all the way to a loving forever home.
