Oswego County SPCA - OCAWL The Oswego County SPCA (OCAWL) is a non-profit, all volunteer team dedicated to providing shelter and critical veterinary care to animals in crisis.

The organization and volunteers are committed to improving animal welfare in our community. The Oswego County SPCA (Oswego County Animal Welfare League) is an all volunteer, not for profit (501C3), no-kill organization, that does not have a shelter and works directly through foster homes. We pride ourselves on helping the Oswego County communities, as well as other areas, and the animals who live in them.

Elijah, aka Moxie, is having a real Doug-from-Up moment. Yesterday, he bravely endured the ultimate betrayal: getting neutered. Today, as if that weren't enough, he had to go back to the vet for a routine check-up. We're pretty sure we just heard him mutter, "I do not like the cone of shame!" 😅

Despite this double-whammy, and the fact that his personality is being temporarily contained by a giant plastic lampshade, Moxie has been charming everyone at Stack Veterinary Hospital. A huge thank you to the team at Stack for fitting him into their busy schedule—he made plenty of new friends! Another huge thank you to the team at Spay and Neuter Syracuse for getting him in and taken care of so quickly when we know you are swamped too!❤️

Spaying and neutering pets is so important for their health and helps reduce the number of homeless animals. It's a small step that makes a huge difference!

❄️ Meet Olaf! ❄️

This 9-week-old sweetheart may not live in Arendelle, but he’s every bit as magical. Once a tiny feral kitten who froze with fear, Olaf has melted into a curious, cuddly boy who now adores warm hugs. 🫶🐱

Thanks to his amazing foster momma cat, Maui, Olaf is learning how to play, love, and be a brave little snowman-in-cat-form. He’s still a little cautious around scary vacuums, but give him a soft pom-pom ball or a wand toy (much quieter than crinkle toys!) and he’s all in! 🎉

This Saturday, our adoptable cats will be gathering at Tractor Supply in Baldwinsville, all hoping for one thing: a forever home. 🏡✨

You may have seen their adorable “dream house” picture in our event graphic (because every kitty wants a home of their own!)—and now you can come meet them in person.

🚨 New Milk-Stache Bros on the Block Alert 🚨

Hi, we’re Milk & Mustache—two brothers, two peas in a pod, and two walking milk mustaches straight outta Sandy Creek. The nice lady usually writes these is fine but she wanted to tell you some depressing things about our history, but we told her to take the night off. We figured, who better to tell you how awesome we are than… us? 😼😼

Yes, we came from a hoarding rescue (same one as our buddy Iggy Pop), but let’s not dwell on that. What’s important now is:
✔️ We wrestle.
✔️ We zoom.
✔️ We nap like champions.
✔️ We look like we just finished drinking a big ol’ glass of milk. 🥛
We’re named Milk and Mustache because of our milk-stache look, and honestly… Dwayne The Rock Johnson gets us. 💪 His milk ad? That’s what we see when we look in the mirror. Don’t you see the resemblance? 😎🥛

We each have our own Petfinder bios (because, hello, we’re individuals 👑), but we decided we needed to be introduced together here to the world—because the Milk-Stache Bros are a package deal in spirit. And while we don’t have to be adopted together… let’s be real, it would be way cooler if we could be. 🐾🐾

Meet Zsa Zsa – the 9-week-old queen of sass, s***k, and “watch me do it anyway.” 👑✨
Zsa Zsa was found as a stray in Fulton with her three siblings, and though she was the tiniest of the bunch, she’s the only one who survived. Against all odds, this little fighter is still standing tall—and ruling the room! 💪💖
Her foster mom calls her the queen of “tell me I can’t and watch me go do it.” Case in point: Zsa Zsa once tried to leap onto a window ledge two feet up… didn’t quite make it, landed in the dog’s water dish, shook herself off, and strutted away like the fearless little diva she is. That’s Zsa Zsa in a nutshell—determined, scrappy, and full of life.
She LOVES to play, is deeply offended by an empty snack dish 🍗😹, and has a personality that will fill your home with endless joy.
Zsa Zsa is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, Feline Leukemia & FIV negative, and available for adoption through the Oswego County SPCA.

🚨 New Kid on the Block Alert 🚨
Meet Rupert – a 4-month-old domestic medium hair tabby with the biggest heart and the bravest story. 💙
Rupert is truly a miracle kitten. He was the only one his age pulled from a home with 27 cats living in just 2 rooms—likely the only one who survived. He battled severe flea anemia and respiratory issues from overwhelming ammonia, and at one point we even feared he might be blind. But this little fighter proved us all wrong—his eyesight is perfect, and so is his spirit. ✨
Now that he’s healthy, Rupert has discovered the joy of toys for the very first time (he was ecstatic 🥹) and loves showing off his “Rupert Parkour” moves, leaping around with all the happiness of a kitten who finally gets to be a kitten. He’s also a total lovebug—he adores other cats, melts into cuddles, and purrs the second he’s held.
After everything he’s been through, Rupert is ready for the forever home he’s been fighting for. 🏡💛

Unexpected Baby Intake 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

We have some very tiny new arrivals! We recently took in five kittens who were rescued by a kind local business after their mother was tragically hit by a car. How could we say no to those little faces who needed a mama? 💖

Our hearts are full, and so are our foster homes! We are currently full to the rafters, with 84 cats waiting for their forever families. Every single one of them is ready for a loving home.
