“DOG OF THE WEEK”
Meet Divo the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

This handsome fella is just over a year old and had his first professional grooming experience. He is learning to trusts his groomer and did really well! When I arrive, he is a little shy and timid, but we quickly became friends after a few sniffs and ear scratches. He likes to lay down during his warm oatmeal bath. This helps deep clean and take care of his itchy, dry, flaky skin and coat. Such soothing relief! He leans in and closes his eyes while I clean his ears. Watches me curiously as I trim his nails, and trim the hair around his paws. Divo is a little unsure about the blow dryer…But with some loving reassurance, he does very well and even gets the shimmies and wiggles as I dry, and brush his silky, soft black and white coat. He will be on a regular monthly schedule to stay clean and tidy. He truly enjoys his “spa day”, and wags his tail almost the entire time. Then it’s a good boy sit, with a little head tilt for his picture.

I love his tiny little pink spot on his nostril! ❤️🐾

7 THINGS YOUR GROOMER MAY NOTICE BEFORE YOU DO 👀🐾

1️⃣ Changes in skin or coat
2️⃣ New lumps, bumps or swelling
3️⃣ Ear odor, redness or discharge
4️⃣ Weight or body-condition changes
5️⃣ Sensitivity where there wasn’t any before

“DOGS OF THE WEEK”
Meet Henry & Gunner the Standard Poodles.

First it’s Henry’s turn. This adorable 4-month old puppy had his “Big Boy” haircut, and he did fantastic! He is learning the grooming process. He likes to lay down and soak in the bubbles during his warm massaging bath. He leans in while I clean his ears. He watches me with curiosity as I trim his nails. He sits and needs some reassuring cuddles while
I blowdry and fluff brush his apricot colored coat. Henry gets a medium length haircut with the classic poodle clean feet and face. Meaning short shaved feet and face. Along with a fluffy topknot and ears. He is growing into his adult coat nicely. When I’m working on the finishing touches of his groom, he is nice and relaxed and nearly falling asleep for his head trim. Such a good puppy! Then it’s a good boy sit and pose for his picture.
Now he curls up for a nice nap. It’s hard work being a good dog!

Now it’s older boy Gunners turn. This handsome fella knows the grooming routine and trusts his groomer. He stands tall and proud during his warm massaging bath. He leans in and gives a little groan while I clean his ears. Hands me his paw for his nail trim. He likes to lay down and relax while I blow dry his tight curled black coat. Gunner gets a very short haircut to stay clean and tidy. Also with the classic poodle clean shaven face. Fluffy topknot and ears. He and his brother have their “spa day” service, every 8-weeks for easy maintenance. Then Gunner gives me a good boy sit and pose as well for his picture. Then they both prance around to show off for Mom and Dad! Such happy Poodles!

I love both of their sweet demeanors

“DOG OF THE WEEK”
Meet Olive the French Bulldog

This beautiful girl knows the grooming routine. When I arrive, she runs to say hello! She is all wiggles and ready for her “spa day”. She likes to spin in circles during her warm massaging bath. She gets the shimmies and shakes while I blow dry and deshed brush her smooth, short, fawn colored coat. She leans in while I clean her ears. She is learning to trust her groomer and be very brave for her nail trim. Treats are always welcomed during this learning process. Olive gets a deshedding bath every month to help cut down on the shedding hair and to stay clean, fresh, and smelling nice. When she’s all finished, she’s happy to pose with a cute little head tilt for her picture.

I love her beautiful brown eyes!❤️🐾
