🐾 Throwback Thursday! 🐾

14 years ago, Jenny started Cat Grooming by Jenny out of her laundry room… and look how far we’ve come! ✨

Back then, it was just Jenny, her grooming table, and a big love for cats. Over the years, the team slowly grew, more & more families entrusted us with their fur babies, and bit by bit, we expanded — from a laundry room, to our first location and finally to The Grand Feline that you know and love today! 🐾

Now, with a beautiful salon, a safe place for your cats when you’re away, and a team full of dedicated cat people, we’re so grateful to look back on this journey. Winning Best of Omaha the last four years in a row has been an honor — but the real reward is the trust you place in us to care for your fur babies! 💖

✨ Tips for Getting Your Cat to Their Appointment ✨

We know that getting your kitty to their grooming or boarding appointment can feel a little… cat-astrophic 😹. Here are a few tips to make the trip smoother for both of you:

🐾 Leave the carrier out early – Let your cat explore it a few days before the appointment so it feels familiar and safe.

🐾 Make the carrier cozy – Add a favorite blanket or towel with their scent to help them feel at home.

🐾 Treats & positive vibes – Encourage your kitty with treats or toys near (and inside) the carrier to create good associations.

🐾 Stay calm – Cats pick up on our emotions. A calm voice and gentle handling go a long way.

🐾 Cover the carrier – A light blanket or towel over the carrier can help reduce stress during travel.
