πŸŒ³πŸ„ Would you come hang out with our farm animals? 🐐🌿

We've been tossing around an idea for a while, and we'd love to know what you think!

What if you could come out to the farm, walk back into the wooded area of our pasture, climb into a hammock, and just... hang out?

No agenda. No rushing. Just some quiet time in nature with the possibility of a few curious farm animals stopping by to say hello.

We're thinking about offering Hanging Out with the Farm Animals, where we'd set up hammocks between the trees in the wooded area of the pasture. You could relax, read a book, listen to the birds, enjoy the woods, or just do absolutely nothing for a while.

The cows and goats would have access to the area, but this wouldn't be a petting zoo. They would get to decide whether they wanted to come visit you. Some days you might make a few new four legged friends. Other days, you might simply get a peaceful hour in the woods.

Of course, we'd have some important safety rules. No food or treats would be allowed in the pasture, children would need to be accompanied by an adult, and we'd go over how to safely interact with the animals before heading back.

For at least our first few sessions, someone from the farm would hang out nearby too while we figure out what works best.

Right now, we're just trying to find out...

Would you be interested in something like this?

And if so, would you rather come by yourself for some quiet time, bring a friend, or make it a family experience?

Tell us what you think! We might just have to get those hammocks hung. πŸŒ³πŸ„πŸ

Today, I made a 20 gallon waterer for the ducks. I have it set up where we can hook up the hose so it can self- fill, but i don't plan on hooking up the hose right now. It's more for when we go out of town.
