Today, our team traded in our usual colors for PINK in honor of the one and only Dolly Parton! 💕🌸

Dolly is known for so much more than her music—her kindness, generosity, positivity, and ability to make people feel a little brighter are things worth celebrating.

One of our favorite Dolly quotes is:
“If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.” 🩷

That’s something we try to remember every day at Franklinton Animal Hospital. Whether it’s a worried pet parent, a nervous patient, a coworker having a tough day, or simply someone who needs a little kindness—we never know how much a smile or kind word might mean.

So today, we wore pink for Dolly and celebrated a woman who has spent a lifetime reminding the world that kindness never goes out of style. 💗🐾

💍✨ Last weekend was a special one for the Franklinton Animal Hospital family as we celebrated the wedding of our very own Jenna and Nathan!

We couldn't be happier for these two as they begin this exciting new chapter together. ❤️

We've received a lot of questions about what time we'll stop accepting walk-ins each afternoon.

The honest answer is: we don't know until we see the patient volume.

With only one doctor available this week, our walk-in hours will most likely need to end earlier than usual if we reach capacity. For example, if there are already many clients waiting at 3:00 p.m., we may have to stop accepting additional walk-ins. However, if patient volume is low, we may be able to continue seeing walk-ins until our normal closing time of 4:30 p.m.

This is a minute-by-minute decision based entirely on the number of patients waiting and their needs and our ability to provide quality care to those already in the hospital.

Please call us at 919.341.1055 before coming to confirm that we are still accepting walk-ins. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and kindness as we work through this week with limited doctor availability.

📢 Client Update

We wanted to let everyone know that Dr. Alex will be out of the office from June 18th through July 5th and will return on July 6th.

During this time, there will be several days when we have only one doctor available. Because of this, we may need to adjust our walk-in availability based on appointment volume and patient needs each day.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works hard to continue providing the best care possible for your pets. If your pet needs routine care, medication refills, or a non-urgent visit, we encourage you to plan ahead and contact us the day of your visit to inquire about wait times.
