🚨 Cat got into medication? Call your vet! 📞

Kitten sneakily ate some medication that was on the counter and came right in to True Friend for supportive care.

Activated charcoal can be helpful in some situations—but not all. The type of medication, amount ingested, and timing all matter. Your veterinarian can determine the safest next step and help you avoid treatments that may do more harm than good.

Here are some fun facts about the owner and veterinarian of True Friend: Dr. Allison Peeler!

1. Dr. Peeler has 5 dogs (Wynn, Max, Obi, Fig and Juni) and 5 cats (Kai, Cheese, Kitten, Liam and Catrick)! 🐶🐈‍⬛

2. She was born and raised in Franklin, TN and lives on her family farm with her husband, Brady (can’t forget the flocks of geese and ducks, too!) 🪿🦆

3. She is a certified Fear Free professional, dedicated to creating positive, personalized experiences for you and your pet 🤍

4. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys hiking, farming, dog sports, local Mexican restaurants & a competitive game of cards!
