We are a small in home cattery whom fell in love with the breed several years back.The kittens are raised in our home around dogs, bunnies, other cats, and children They are all very well socialized and spoiled before leaving. They are fed a grain free holistic diet and raised holistically(naturally) with love and care.

Dr Susan Wynne doing a great talk here - check out those images from a new study of coat quality in kittens fed raw, cooked or dry - on the right is raw food, nice, full, smooth keratin scales. This is the luxurious coat when animals are fed real food. In the middle is cooked and on the left a kibble-fed kitten.

Highly likely this applies to the skin too.
