The sun is shining bright and hot this summer, and it's more important than ever to prevent heat stroke in your pups. Here are some things you can do to ensure your fur babies are staying happy and healthy this summer:
1. Ensure proper access to shade and water.
2. Avoid exercise in the hottest parts of the day.
3. Utilize cooling aids, such as ice packs and cooling rags.
4. Know the symptoms of heat stroke - Excessive panting, drooling, difficulty breathing, bright red or pale gums, and lethargy.
