Did you know? Despite the decision of the AKC to call the breed “Miniature American Shepherd,” they are the same dog as the “Miniature Australian Shepherd” and most people use the names interchangeably.

They are tend to be highly intelligent, enthusiastic and devoted to family dogs. They are usually gentle with children and polite to other dogs and cats, especially when they’re raised with them.
