**Winter 2025 breeding plans**
Rip vd Montferhoeve (47987) x Arch City’s Alessia Della Fuoco (49243)
We’ve had our eyes on Rip as a potential stud from the time we first met him years ago as a young dog.
Rip is social/socially neutral with people and dogs, environmentally stable, high possession, high search/hunt, high aggression & high prey in the work. He bites very hard, forward, full and most importantly, with intent. Rip is not a biddable dog whatsoever, has zero handler aggression but demands fairness and clarity with corrections. He has no natural off switch, though he is clean and quiet in the crate.
Alessia is our Qlark (Odin x Maca) x Lucia (Iggy x Gorgonzola) daughter. She is linebred on Maca (Manni x Sin), Reno (a Kuno Roosen son, Boy II grandson) and also Castor x Angel through our B litter, Blaze being her great grandmother and Bacchus being her great grandfather.
Alessia is a strong, compact female with exceptional orthopedics (PennHIP .15/.14/normal elbows & spine). She is high drive, high arousal and impulsive while working. She has solid nerves and is social/socially neutral with people and dogs. Out of drive, she is mild, easy-going and medium-energy.
This pairing brings together two well-established breeding programs with proven track records for producing high quality working dogs.
Individually, each dog showcases the desired traits as a result of many generations of intentional and informed linebreeding.
Interested parties should be prepared for the potential of very busy, challenging dogs that require a unique approach to training.
Se7en (39814) x Umami (46765)
Se7en is out of Iggy x Maca (our J litter), one of our favorite combinations to date. This litter consistently highlights many of the attributes that we strive for in our program, and Se7en is a wonderful representation of that. He has very high drive with a strong, intentional bite; he is open, social, balanced, playful, and responds beautifully to pressure. Highly analytical in and out of drive - he brings a quiet, focused intensity when he’s on. He is the type of dog that has the versatility to be a service dog, sport dog, or police dog. He currently has 1 leg of his French Ring 2, with plans to close it out this year.
Umami is out of Orso x Gorgonzola (our U litter), which has now been repeated 4x. Umami has her French Ring Brevet and PSA PDC, currently training for level 1s in both sports. This combination has consistently produced extremely versatile, high quality dogs, capable of excelling in any venue. While they are not *easy* sport dogs, they have quality character, high drive, strong nerve, and sociability.
This pairing brings together/is linebred on some of our favorite dogs and doubles up on many of the specific traits that make Della Fuoco Working Dogs so unique and special.
