This little cutie is Nova! She was adopted four years ago as an emotional support animal for her young mom. She was doing great until the burden became too much. Dogs get overwhelmed too and they need our guidance and leadership to stay mentally balanced. Nova and the family got the FFA talk. Food, Freedom and Affection. These are important resources that are often times in need of balance. More foraging, crate time, walks with Heel as the emphasis and discipline is in her near future. I’m rooting for Nova! She’s loves her mom very much but just got a little confused as to how she should show that love when it comes to other people approaching.

This little lady is Oso. She was adopted a month ago by a fantastic family who wanted to take in an elderly dog. I visited them yesterday to assist in ways to teach this girl how to navigate her new life without her hearing or eye sight. Luckily she has a great sense of smell and touch. With the use of tapping on the floor and treat lures her potty training is well under way. Congrats Oso you have a new lease on life thanks to your new home ❤️ I’ll see you in two weeks for more lessons on life!
