PUPPY PRESCHOOL:
A five week course designed to start your puppy off on the right paw. It is to establish proper social skills and beginning training during a puppy's most formidable time. 10-20 weeks of age is ideal but will take older puppies if they are small breeds. CANINE ELEMENTARY:
A six week course designed for kindergarten graduates as a next step of training. Or suitable for any adult dog that hasn't received any formal training. Dog's and owners will learn how to better communicate through positive training experiences. Commands covered are: Sit, Down, Stay and Walking on a loose leash, Coming when called, Look, Leave it, proper socialization skills and impulse control. PUPPY KINDERGARTEN:
A six week course designed to give dog owner's all the tools necessary to create a happy, loving relationship with their canine companion. Puppies who complete this course will be eligible for the AKC STAR Puppy Certificate. Your puppy will learn: Sit, Down, intro to Stay and Walking on a loose leash, Coming when called, Look, Leave it, proper socialization skills and impulse control. Held in the The Multi Generational Center with some training done outdoors as well. FIT & FOCUS:
A six week hiking class designed to motivate owner and dog to get in better shape, socialize and explore new places in Humboldt County. This class helps dogs overcome aggression as well with the use of dog backpacks. The weight in the packs helps calm and center dogs as they hike in a large pack. This class changes people and their dogs for the better! Individual training is offered anywhere in the Humboldt area from Garberville to McKinleyville
