Meet Shadow, a seven-year-old Beagle mix with a heart as big as his smile!

With his handsome black, brown, tan, and white coat, Shadow is as striking as he is sweet. At 32 pounds, he’s the perfect medium size—not too big, not too small, but just right for walks, snuggles, and everything in between.

Meet Alyssa, one of our Veterinary Technicians who joined the VCA Westcreek team in March 2024 and has been spreading smiles (and tail wags) ever since! She shares her life with three adorable pets—Buckles, the playful pup, and two curious kitties, Spyder and Keagan. She's all about crocheting, yoga, outdoor adventures, reading, cooking, anime marathons, and keeping things clean and cozy.

What she loves most about her job? Learning something new every day, helping pets feel their best, and watching them grow over time.

As Alyssa's passion grows, she is interested in working toward her Technician Assistant Certification and loving every step of the journey!

Meet Joy, a Veterinary Technician who joined the VCA Westcreek crew in December 2023 and brings a whole lot of heart (and fur) to the team! She shares her life with six beloved pets—two pups, Biggie (her childhood buddy) and Starman (a long-term foster)—plus four fabulous felines, Tigger, Mordecai, Rigby, and Honey. She's a pro at baking pet-friendly treats, loves cozy cat naps, and gets creative with pottery in her downtime.

What lights her up at work? Her incredible patients—and the clients who make every day even better, truly!

Joy is also an aspiring LVT/RVT, chasing her dream one paw print at a time.
