One of Lindsey’s many superpowers is the genuine care she shows for others. She wears her heart on her sleeve and is deeply committed to making sure every client and patient is taken care of. No challenge is too big she’ll move mountains to find answers and provide the support people need.

Dena’s journey with us is truly special she first came to us as a client when Dr. Young was here, and for over 8 years now, she’s been an incredible part of our HPAH family. 💙

Her heart shines bright in everything she does. The care, compassion, and empathy she shows every single client and patient is something truly amazing to witness. No matter what comes her way, she greets everyone with a warm, genuine smile that makes all the difference.

Dena has many superpowers, but her biggest is without a doubt her HEART. 🐾

🌟 Our Super Care Coordinator of the Day… NINA!! 🌟

Nina has been part of HPAH for nearly 7 amazing years! 💙 She has many superpowers, but there’s absolutely NO match for her incredible memory she knows our clients, their cars, and what they need before they even walk through the door! 🚗✨

Her love for our patients and clients shines through in everything she does. Nina goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is cared for and that we’re always doing right by them.

And a little fun fact if I see one of our amazing patients heading to the back with red lipstick on, I know they’ve been touched by a little bit of Nina magic! 💄✨

Her heart is so big it radiates, and our clients truly feel that every single day. We are so lucky to have you, Nina! 💫

Our amazing receptionists are truly the heartbeat of our hospital. They’re the first smiles you see, the first voices you hear, and the last friendly faces you leave with. No hospital can run without that kind of heart and these ladies bring it every single day 💙

From showing endless compassion to our patients and clients, to navigating tough calls and busy moments with grace, they handle it ALL. Making sure every client feels cared for and supported? Just another one of their many superpowers ✨

And trust us each one of these incredible women has a whole lineup of powers ready to go at any moment!

We’re excited to share that HPAH has partnered with VEG ER for Pets on Camp Bowie as our primary emergency hospital!

What does this mean for you and your fur babies? 🐶🐱

✨ After-hours support: When you call HPAH after hours, you can be connected with a veterinarian at VEG to discuss your pet’s situation. They can help determine if it can wait until we reopen or if your pet should be seen right away.

✨ Extended care: This partnership allows us to continue supporting our clients and patients even when our hospital is closed.

As we begin this new partnership, we kindly ask for your patience and grace while everyone navigates this transition. The team at VEG—both veterinarians and technicians—are dedicated to helping while also caring for sick and emergency patients.

HPAH has officially been reaccredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)!

What does this mean?

It means we hold ourselves to standards that go above and beyond typical veterinary requirements. Not many hospitals can say they are AAHA-accredited — only about 12–15% of veterinary hospitals in the U.S. and Canada achieve this distinction.

HPAH has proudly maintained AAHA accreditation since 2011, voluntarily meeting over 900 rigorous standards in areas like patient care, safety, anesthesia, pain management, surgery, medical records, and cleanliness.

This reaccreditation reflects our continued commitment to providing exceptional care for your pets — with the love, compassion, understanding, and experienced team you’ve trusted for years.

👀👀 BREAKING NEWS @ HPAH 👀👀 ‼️⁉️

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Spears to the Harris Parkway Family! 🥳🐾

Here’s a little more about his journey:

Dr. Spears was born in Minnesota and later moved to Texas, where he attended high school and began shaping the path that would define his future. His passion for veterinary medicine began at just eight years old when he found a stray cat and nursed him back to health. That life-changing experience sparked a calling to dedicate his life to caring for animals.

He went on to earn his undergraduate degree in agriculture from Prairie View A&M University in 2016. He later achieved his dream of becoming a veterinarian by graduating from the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

Dr. Spears is recently married and a proud dog dad to three pups! 🐶🐶🐶 In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, watching anime, and staying active.
