Our Riding Lesson Program is for ages 6 through adult, whether you’re climbing into the saddle for the very first time or looking to take your riding to the next level.

At Camp Carter, we focus on more than just teaching someone how to ride. Our riders learn to work with their horse, build confidence, develop good horsemanship skills, and—most importantly—have fun along the way.

Give your horse a home in a safe, well-cared-for pasture setting, supported by our experienced and attentive staff. We offer full care pasture boarding at our facility, conveniently located in Ft. One of the things we love about riding? It makes you slow down. 🐴

Once you’re in the saddle, there isn’t much room for anything else going on in your head. You have to pay attention to your horse, your surroundings, and what you’re doing in the moment.

We see it all the time with our lesson students, their focus gets sharper, the outside noise fades, and for a little while, it’s just them and their horse. 💙
