Happy Howl-O-Ween from all of us at St. Joe Center Veterinary Hospital! 🐾🧡

We’ve had some spooky cute visitors around the hospital lately! From Franklin, the adorable 10-week old Lab making his very first vet visit, to our furry friends showing off their Halloween costumes, we’ve been having a boo-tiful time! 🐶

We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and treat filled Halloween! Remember to keep the candy (especially chocolate!) out of reach of your four legged trick-or-treaters.

Share a picture of your pets in their Halloween costumes in the comments. We’d LOVE to see them! 📸🐾

With today being the last day of tech week we just wanted to end the week with another thank you! Veterinary Technicians are angels in disguise, hero’s without capes, and some of the most empathetic humans you could ever meet. If you have a Vet Tech in your life, please take the time to thank them for the work they do but most importantly, check in on them. Make sure they’re okay! This job is HARD…physically, mentally and emotionally. We LOVE our RVT’s and hope they know they are valued every single day, not just one week out of the year!

This sweet guy, Emmett, came to us as a new patient. He was the first appointment of the day today and made everyone smile. Look at that face!!!! 🥰 I think our lead technician, Payton, was plotting how she was going to sneak out the back door with him. 🤣

If you’ve ever brought your fur baby into our office, they’ve surely been cared for by one of our amazing Registered Veterinary Technicians! They do not always receive the credit and appreciation they deserve. We are sooo lucky to have them!
Please help us celebrate them this week:) Thank you:
Andrea, Chelsea, Dani, Lauren, Lisa, Pam, Payton, Raena and Taylor

Do you need help keeping your dog physically active? Mentally
stimulated? Have a senior that is slowing down? Do they need muscle strengthening/building and mobility help? Have they had an orthopedic surgery recently that therapy could help with their recovery? Call our Rehab Department to speak to one of our technicians. The Rehab Department is located inside our St. Joe Center Vet Hospital building.

Meet Marcel! 🐾

Marcel came in for his annual wellness visit with Dr. Hendrickson and was such a good boy! 🩶 He got all caught up on his FVRCP/Rabies combo and FeLV vaccine, but clearly, the best part of his appointment was the belly rubs.

This handsome guy was happy to soak up all the extra love and attention. We think it’s safe to say Marcel gives his visit two paws up! 🐱
