It’s not an if, it’s a necessity 🦴🐕
These high-activity herding dogs need to work their brain, as they were bred to work a job every single day.
If you don’t meet their physical and mental requirements, that’s when you start to see destructive behavior, because their bodies instinctively want to get that energy out, as well as increased potential for anxiety and depression. These dogs need their brain to be worked to be healthy and happy 🐶🧩
What does this mean?
Give them a puzzle, a lickmat, or Kong with treats inside. Something that will hold their attention for a good amount of time. Pair this with physical activity every day, and these dogs will flourish as the loyal companions they are 🐾
