It only takes one mosquito 🦟 for your dog 🐶 to catch heartworms! Make sure to keep your baby on preventative and to test yearly. We can do testing for $20 and have preventative for as low as $10 a month. No appointment needed- walk-in M-F 9-3

🚨 Urgent Need: Our Pet Pantry is Empty 🐾
At Kitties and Kanines Pet Resource Center, our Pet Pantry at 4300 Phoenix Avenue Fort Smith, AR 72903 exists to support local families and their beloved pets in times of need. ❤️🐶🐱
Right now, our pantry shelves are completely empty, and we need your help to refill them.
We're asking our amazing community to donate any of the following:
• Dry or canned dog and cat food
• Pet formula and treats
• Litter
• Gently used leashes, collars, or bowls
Every single donation helps keep pets in their homes and out of shelters.
🕓 Donations can be dropped off during clinic hours or purchased through our Amazon link. Feel free to message us about other ways to help.

🐾 Great News for Fort Smith Pet Owners! 🐾
We are incredibly thankful to the City of Fort Smith for their continued support of local pets and families! Through their generosity, Kitties and Kanines Pet Resource Center has received 150 additional vouchers to help cover the cost of spay or neuter services, microchipping, and a rabies vaccination for Fort Smith residents.
Each voucher provides up to $100 in financial assistance toward these important services. While not completely free, these vouchers make preventative care significantly more affordable and accessible for our community. 🐶🐱
Vouchers are available on a first come, first serve basis, so don’t delay!

When Leo first arrived at Kitties and Kanines Pet Resource Center, he was a fragile little soul with no one to call his own—just a tiny stray with a big heart and an uncertain future. 💔🐾

But fate had other plans.

After receiving his vaccinations and being neutered, Leo transformed—not just in health, but in spirit. On the very same day a new Pope was elected, we named him Leo—a name fit for a king. 🦁✨

And now, this little lion has found his pride. 🏡💛

We’re overflowing with gratitude to the Hayden Family, whose loving hearts and open arms have given Leo the forever home he always deserved.

🙏 Thank you for giving him what every stray dreams of—a second chance and a family to love him.
