What makes PNP stand out for a typical salon model? It’s that we work with you pet 1-1. This means no other pet families in the salon besides yours, no cages, we work at a pace your pet is comfortable with, and build a relationship with them. I don’t just groom them , I create an experience. This is ideal for reactive, fearful, easily overwhelmed, fearful, senior, shy, or anxious dogs.
This is Shadow she is a very sweet dog but lacks confidence, reactive to energy and sounds. I had to bring awareness to my breathing, thoughts, and energy when working with this beauty.
For example-
A low + gentle water stream for bathing ( even if that means taking longer) , a massage as I lathered the shampoo, slowly and gently maneuvering her body without moving too fast, cottonballs in her ears to help cancel out sound.
These are things I can do with my business model. Rushing and large volume of pets is NOT the vibe.
I also charge based on time with an hourly rate.
$65 per hour small dogs
$75 per hours med to large dogs
Each dog is different. You could have a two Shih-tzu’s that are identical in every way getting the same haircut and one may take double the time based off your dogs personal needs.
I train dogs to be more accepting and at ease with grooming… it’s more than “ just a haircut “. It’s changing their perception of grooming to be more comfortable.
So if you’re looking for cheap, I’m not the groomer for you.
