June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, and they don’t get any cuter than this!

We currently have almost 60 cats and kittens looking for loving homes, and now is the perfect time to adopt!

Through June 30:
Cat and kitten adoptions are just $20
Adopt one, get a feline friend at no additional fee!

Every adoption includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, a county license (if applicable), and so much more.

Ash had a blast during her day out with Lee County’s Community Development Department! From making new friends to soaking up all the attention, it’s safe to say fun was had by all.

The best part? Ash’s adventure isn’t over yet—she’s heading out for an overnight vacation, giving her even more time to show off what a wonderful companion she is. These outings help shelter pets relax, build confidence, and give potential adopters a glimpse of how they fit into everyday life.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that this sleepover turns into a forever home for Ash. Stay tuned for updates on this sweet girl’s journey!

Former resident update!

When Luna arrived at Lee County Domestic Animal Services, she had a body condition score of just 1 out of 9. After receiving much needed care with our veterinary and shelter staff, Luna was ready to begin a new chapter.

Today, Luna is thriving! She’s traveling, competing in agility, and living her very best life with her loving family.

Stories like Luna’s remind us why adoption matters. Thank you to everyone who chooses to adopt and give shelter pets a second chance.
