🐰 BIG NEWS FOR TWO VERY SPECIAL BUNNIES MABLE AND SNOWBALL! 🐰

These sweet, bonded besties have officially hopped on down the bunny trail to their foster-to-adopt home! Yesterday was a huge day for Mable and Snowball as they packed up their tiny paws and moved into their cozy new setup.

Look at them already settling right in and making themselves at home in their adorable little teepee setup! We couldn't be happier for this precious pair as they start this exciting new chapter together.

Sending a giant thank you to their incredible foster to adopt family for opening up their hearts and home to Mable and Snowball! Let's all wish these sweet bunnies the happiest, most spoiled transition ever! 💕✨

FOSTER NEEDED FOR TOAST!
🐰✨
Due to Toasts owner's father's health failing, and her having to travel back and forth from mobile to Ohio. She sadly needs to rehome Toast. Here at Rabbit House Rescue we are full to capacity and can't take sweet Toast at this time. This is where you as a foster can help! If you can even foster until we have a space open up that would help tremendously! He comes with all his toys, food, hutch ect. So everything you need to foster and get him set up!

Now about Toast, an adorable sweet boy who is looking for a patient, loving temporary foster home! Toast will be 1 year old this December, and he’s fully neutered and litter box trained.

Toast is a gentle soul with a shy side. While new people can make him a little nervous at first, he’s never bitten anyone—he just prefers to retreat to a safe hiding spot until he gets to know you. He loves affection on his own terms and will gladly come to you for pets, but he prefers not to be scooped up unexpectedly! So not suited for a home with small children.

Toast’s Highlights & Personality:

• Dog/Cat-Friendly: Can be in a home with dogs or cats.

• Bonding Potential: Would likely thrive in a home with another bunny companion after proper bonding.

• Adventure Ready: Harness trained! While he’s not a fan of the initial put-on, he loves exploring and hopping around outside on his leash.

• Favorite Snacks: Dill, strawberries, and apple slices are the way to his heart!
🍓🍎🌿
Toast is currently eating young rabbit food and needs a calm, quiet space where he can warm up at his own pace and show you his loving personality.
If you have room in your heart and home to open your doors to Toast while he looks for his forever placement, please send a message us!

Update on Moose, our rescued Flemish Giant! 🐰✨

He’s recovering amazingly well from his neuter, and those wild teen hormones are officially chilling out! Now that he’s started settling in, his sweet puppy-like personality is shining through.

Here’s the latest on this big guy:

Puppy Energy: Whenever someone walks into the room, if he's awake, he comes rushing right out looking for treats or head scritches! He bounces around with pure excitement and acts just like a puppy.

Litter Box Champ: He’s doing fantastic with his litter box habits and proving to be such a sweet, smart boy.

Respecting His Space: He’s learning that his home is his safe space—no one takes him out unless he decides to come out on his own terms.

Socializing Great: Despite a rough beginning early on, he's thriving in a bustling home environment and getting exposed to kids, dogs, cats, and other rabbits.

We couldn't be happier with how far Moose has come in a short time! ❤️ Be sure to like, follow, and turn notifications on to stay up to date with this sweet baby! 🐇❤️ Videos of Moose in the comments! He loves pets!🥰

So many of these gentle souls come from background stories filled with uncertainty, neglect, or fear. They may have never known what it feels like to have a safe space, fresh greens, or a quiet corner where they can sleep without fear.

When you open your heart and home to an animal that previously had nothing, something magical happens. Watching a once-timid bunny stretch out, flop onto their side in total relaxation, and realize they are finally safe is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.

To the world, it might just be one small rabbit—but to that rabbit, their whole world changes forever. Knowing we can transform a life so completely is the very reason Rabbit House Rescue does what we do every single day. You truly can make a difference. 🐰✨

Thinking about adding a furry friend to your family? Consider our foster to adoption program so you find that perfect addition to your family, all while helping save a sweet bunny! 🏡❤️

Every day, the human tells me, "Enrichment keeps your mind sharp, little bun!"

So what do they do? Hide my evening pellets inside a crumpled cardboard tube, stuff my hay into a woven seagrass ball, and bury my favorite dried herbs under four layers of shredded paper.

LISTEN! I am a majestic creature of refined taste, not a construction worker.
Do I have the puzzle-solving intellect of a tiny genius? Absolutely. Did I demolish that cardboard forage toy in under two minutes to retrieve my rightful snacks? Of course I did. But am I going to give you the ultimate Bunny Side-Eye while doing it, just so you remember who actually runs this house? 100%.
You call it "preventing boredom." I call it unnecessary labor before dinner. (Please leave three more forage mats in the living room immediately, thanks.)

🐰👁️👇

Why Bunny Enrichment Actually Matters (According to the Human):
Foraging Toys & Snuffle Mats: Tricking us into working for treats mimics natural wild behaviors, keeps our sharp brains busy, and stops us from redesigning your baseboards.

Chewable Obstacles: Woven seagrass, apple sticks, and untreated willow keep our teeth worn down safely (and save your iPhone cords).

Dig Boxes & Tunnels: Crinkle paper, cardboard tubes, and fabric tunnels give us safe outlets for our deep-seated urge to excavate your couch cushions.

What type of mischief does your bun bun get into?

Every like, comment, and share works a little bit of magic to help spread rabbit care education and bring eyes to our rescue. More engagement means we can save, heal, and rehabilitate even more precious long-eared babies! 🐰❤️
Taking just two seconds to interact with this post makes a huge difference. The bunnies thank you! 🐇👇

Welcome to the Rescue, Moose! 🐰💚
Meet Moose, a sweet male Flemish Giant who recently arrived in our care under very difficult circumstances. Poor Moose was dumped out of a car and abandoned, but thanks to caring individuals, he is safe with us now!
Since arriving, Moose has been seen by our vet, received a clean bill of health, and was neutered. He is now settling in and getting lots of love in a wonderful foster home.
Moose isn't ready for adoption just yet as he recovers and gets acclimated, but be sure to follow our page for updates on his journey!

Just like a dog, rabbits require plenty of care and attention to thrive as beloved pets. These adorable creatures need ample exercise to stay healthy, which means providing them with enough space to hop around and explore. A variety of toys and activities are essential to keep their curious minds engaged and prevent boredom. Additionally, a balanced diet full of fresh hay, vegetables, and pellets is crucial for their wellbeing. Creating a safe and cozy home, free from hazards, ensures they feel secure and comfortable. Most importantly, rabbits need a loving family to provide them with companionship and affection, as they are social animals that thrive on interaction and love.

Happy Adoption Day to Miss Jasmine!

This super sweet (and soft!) bun was left behind at an apartment complex in Spanish Fort when her owners moved. What started out as a scary cold rainy day, has turned into a heartwarming happy ending. Jasmine is now princess of her own castle and being properly spoiled by her loyal, loving subjects! 😆

All of us at The Rabbit House are absolutely thrilled for you sweet girl!
