It feels really weird, and a bit sad, not having puppies of my own. And these Arya x Canyon grandpuppies are so cute, I just can’t stand it! Those pretty fawns & gorgeous brindles, which remind me so much of their great grandma, Athena. 😍 These chunky adorable babies will be 8 weeks old next week…

Another generation of Tahquamenon bloodlines. ❤️ I believe these babies are about 4 weeks old now.
Their mama is Delilah, once known as Corkscrew (Piglet) from Canyon and Arya’s Rollercoaster litter.

We’ve had grandbabies here 10 out of the last 11 days, and as you can tell by her glazed over look, Bristol was over it. 😂
She absolutely loves all of the babies, but she was ready to reclaim her throne. 👑🩷🐾🐾

So not a post about our bulldogges, but something that still pertains to us. My husband and I were laughing earlier about the way Google maps pronounces some of the towns, roads, and landmarks that are familiar to us. In particular, the mispronunciation of a name that is pretty important to us. And it got me wondering. There are many of you who have one of our babies, and you don’t live within our state. So you may have never heard our name actually pronounced. Just in case, I thought I’d leave this year for you. ❤️

We planted peonies over London’s grave 5 years ago, and they’re doing so well. Our sweet Athena was laid to rest beside her this past fall, and we planted peonies for her as well. Yesterday the first one bloomed. We miss both of our sweet girls, but this past Sunday, on Mother’s Day, Athena was on my mind. Our matriarch. We all owe her much thanks for our sweet Tahquamenon Bulldogge babies, for without her not one of them would be here today. She was such a special girl. 🩷🐾🐾
