Vanessa Dodson grew up in upstate New York and attended Cornell University for her undergraduate degree. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of

Georgia in 2002. She has been practicing small animal medicine since then, both day practice and some emergency work. Dr. Dodson has been working with Pet Care Associates since January of 2005 and has been the owner of Pet Care since 2019. She says, “I enjoy all aspects of small animal practice, but especially enjoy surgery, dentistry, and feline medicine. I really enjoy the personal touch that Pet Care Associates offers to its clients and the high quality of medicine that is standard.”

Yesterday a licensed rehab facilitator contacted Dr Chambers regarding an injured fawn. Following proper protocol and avenues, they were able to reach Dr Chambers to perform emergency surgery. Following the surgery, the fawn was immediately transferred to a rehab facility where it will recover. Please be aware we do not take injured wildlife from the general public. We can legally only accept wildlife with instruction from a license rehabilitation individual. PetCare is taking donations for the injured fawn to assist the rescue directly with this baby.
