Yesterday we received a “PURR-formance” review for Luna and Jasper. Here's what their PAW-rents had to say:

"It’s been nearly 3 years since Luna, formerly Gizmo, came to fill our home with furry love; and nearly 2 years since Jasper, formerly Dale, came to fill our home with his very special orange kitty love and inquisitiveness (he is smart, clever and sometimes more than lives up to the orange kitty reputation…we absolutely adore him)."

Thanks for adopting!

Last week we had a super surgery event at our vet clinic. Dr. Thurk came from Bend to help Dr. Guevara, and together they spayed/neutered 77 cats and kittens over 2 days! Our volunteers and team member Valerie orchestrated a HUGE Trap Neuter Return (TNR) event to get a large amount of community cats fixed. They worked in several areas of Florence: Old Town, Florence Events Center, Oceana Dr., and 36th and Oak! 33 cats were trapped, and 22 were released back to their communities after surgery. 3 had microchips and were reunited with their families! The rest of the trapped cats and kittens came to the shelter to find new homes.
It takes a village to coordinate projects like this. Thanks to everyone who played a role! We can’t do it without you!
