11.3 mph. That is Gunner's top speed today, and yes, he is a service dog. 🐾
It is easy to think a working dog is already getting plenty of exercise on the job. In reality, service work is mostly stillness. Sitting under a table, walking at heel, holding a down stay for hours. That energy has to go somewhere, which is why Gunner's dad keeps him moving outside of work. Big frisbee sessions are already a regular part of his life.
The slatmill is just another outlet in the mix. Gunner came in, locked in, and showed us what he had. He clearly loves this as much as chasing the frisbee with his dad.
