The pens and Trick will be set up Friday the 19th for anyone who would like to get here a night early for some tuning.

The heat will be on and the kitchen will be open Saturday and Sunday!

The $12k Added Turkey Trot Barrel Race Double Down & Diamond Classic will be postponed at this time due to the EHV outbreak!

♦️This was looking to be our biggest Turkey Trot yet, but keeping everyone and their horses safe is our #1 priority

♦️We have talked extensively with our vet last night and Flickerwood Arena will be closed to outside horses, until further notice

♦️We have been working on rescheduling this morning with our staff and sanctioning partners (more details to come later).

♦️I know a lot of you have reached out, and I will work on getting back to you this afternoon

♦️Everyone will be refunded, I will start working on them this afternoon and they should show up in your accounts in the next 2-3 days

Just a reminder we are closed…

A few things to think about during this scary time!

1. A horse can be shedding with no symptoms

2. Human contact, tack, buckets, stalls or any object can be infected by the shed from infected horses, so please, if you have been to any of these events or traveled lately, please take the time and percussion and clean everything.

3. Quarantine…. Quarantine…. Quarantine….

It’s better safe than sorry. If you play it safe, you’ll have a lifetime of races with your loved ones! There will always be another race; stay home, stay safe!

As many have seen there has been a devistating outbreak of EHV in the north Texas/ Oklahoma area.

As a saftey precaution we are closing the arena down to outside horses until further notice. We are sorry for any inconvenience but we have to protect our horses and yours!

Please pray for all those infected and those who have been in contact with those infected.
