Smiley's Rescues

10/29/2026

Wednesday nights are for cleaning/snuggling with the Feluk+ kitties.

Adoptable, but often overlooked, these kitties hold the key to my ❤️

We have had a rough 2 weeks. I have been feeling severly burnt out, compassion fatigue, overwhelmed, and everything else under the sun.

Grateful I got some time in my happy place. 🐾🐈🐈‍⬛

Bonus info: ALL of our Feluk+ kitties always have sponsored adoption fees. They would love to be a part of your family. ❤️

Mr. F (f as in Feral) found himself in a live trap that was unintentional for him, and the homeowners are very rural and had no idea he existed.

He is definitely feral indeed but he had a very fu**ed up leg for lack of better words. He was not using it at all.

Upon chatting with our vet, we decided to amputate. He already appears very grateful. 🙏

Please donate if you can, our vet/tech worked very hard yesterday to fit him to eliminate the stress of being sedated twice/traveling to the vet, etc. AND did this at a very reasonable cost for the rescue.

Leg Amputation/Neuter: $300

We are so excited to be participating in a Halloween event up in Fertile, MN on Monday, October 26th from 3-6pm!

Pumpkins, games, adoptable animals, scheduling help, spay/neuter questions, and so much more!

Come join us at 42487 Center AVE SW, Fertile, MN!

10/21/2026

We have learned over the years that it is best to assume the cats/dogs in the rescue on intake have fleas/ticks/worms.

We used quite a bit in the last few weeks and I needed to re-stock for a 3-4 month supply.

Please help if you can!

We also have a number of items we need on our Amazon wishlist if you are willing!

Thank you for helping us help the animals.

Meet Holly!

Age: 3 years
Breed: Hound
S*x: Female
Size: Medium

About Me:
Hi! My name is Holly, I’m a friendly girl with a heart full of love. My friends describe me as affectionate, playful and goofy. I enjoy walks, cuddling on the couch, treats, and meeting new people!

My Ideal Home:
I’m looking for a family that will provide daily exercise but cuddle on the couch. I get along with everyone! But I will try to avoid cats because they can be scary.
I would love a home with another dog for me to play with.
