On my first day with Miss Kitty from Crookston, she was so scared that she tried to get out closed windows. For a couple of years, I didn't want to scare her, so I didn't risk reaching out to pet her. Finally, I did to see if she would run away. She relaxed and started to purr. She said, "I've been waiting for this!"
