Blending Traditional Acupuncture with Modern Therapies

We look forward to hosting Dr. Nell Ostermeier (DVM, CVA, FAAVA) as a guest speaker for the upcoming AHVMA 2026 Annual Conference.

A 2004 graduate of the University of Illinois, Dr. Ostermeier practices in Portland, Oregon. Certified in veterinary acupuncture since 2011, she spent over a decade operating an integrative hospital before transitioning to a mobile practice. She is deeply passionate about combining traditional acupuncture with modern therapies to help practitioners achieve practical, efficient, and successful clinical outcomes.

Today, Dr. Ostermeier focuses on education and mentorship as the founder of the Every Day Acu Veterinary Community. Through this community, she leads small-group Mastermind programs designed to help veterinarians sharpen their skills, deepen their clinical confidence, and integrate specialized care into everyday practice.
