We rescued “Easter Lily” 12 days ago. We have taken her to the vet and got all her vaccinations and ran tests for a clean bill of health. If we find the perfect home she is good with kids, dogs, chickens, horses, pretty much anything! Reach out if you know someone.

⚠️ PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE: Fayetteville Animal Services is alerting residents to a recent spike in Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) cases within the local raccoon population. While the virus does NOT pose a health threat to humans, it is contagious and potentially fatal for domestic dogs.

RECOGNIZING THE SIGNS:
• Disorientation: Raccoons appearing "drunk," stumbling or wandering aimlessly.
• Unusual Behavior: Being active during the day and showing no fear of humans or loud noises.
• Physical Symptoms: Discharge from the eyes or nose (looking like a "cold"), matted fur or seizures/tremors.
