My lesson clients’ dogs have really been finding some zen 🧘

Relaxed. Fulfilled. Clear headed. At peace. Not just obedient.

By the end of lessons, so many of these pups are lying down, snoozing, decompressing, and finally able to disconnect from the world around them.

A dog that can find “zen” is a dog whose nervous system isn’t constantly searching, scanning, reacting, anticipating, or looking for the next thing to fixate on. They learn impulse control, emotional regulation, neutrality, and how to simply exist calmly in the environment.

That’s huge. Especially in today’s world where so many dogs live in a constant state of stimulation and arousal.

Teaching a dog how to settle, think clearly, and be at peace is just as important as teaching obedience. Sometimes even more important.

Watching these dogs truly exhale lately has been so rewarding. 🖤

This little sassafrass, Georgia, is also here for the hybrid program but for different reasons!

She has REALLY big thoughts on certain situations and sometimes that can be with new people, sometimes new dogs. So we started with lessons first so she can bond with her trainer but also reshape how her people show her the world.

She’s the sweetest, little dumbo eared girl who just needed clear boundaries and confidence.

We are LOVING her progress!

We started with lessons to help guide the client in the right direction of raising a confident, fun, happy, well mannered dood! And now, Trainer Teri, is polishing him up in the board and train 🧡

Such a great option for new puppy owners! We know it’s overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be 🐾🐾
