Franklin County Animal Shelter

Franklin County Animal Shelter Until they find their families, they're a part of ours. We provide medical treatment including vaccinations and sterilization to all animals prior to adoption.

Since 1974, our purpose has been to provide temporary care and shelter to stray, homeless, and abandoned animals. FCAS serves the community as an adoption facility where loving families and pets needing homes come together. The shelter strives to educate the public in the proper care of pets including increasing public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue.

Lilly is missing from the Intervale Road in Temple.She is a very friendly 10 yr old chocolate lab, recently developed glaucoma in her right eye. She just moved here, so she is unfamiliar with the area. She is a typical lab - social, very food motivated, and drawn to water. Please contact Mia at 207-500-1263

This morning, we can only say WOW!

Our annual Maine's Mega Yard Sale was such a success, we exceeded last year's fundraising by a mile! We had such a great time, and hope you were able to find some great bargains. Thank you so much for supporting homeless animals in Franklin County, and we'll do it all again - even bigger and better - next year!
