Update*** The parade is going up High Street and then left on Academy Street and not up to Broadway.***

The Shriners are coming to Farmington this weekend! Don’t miss the big parade this Saturday at 10AM, marching right through downtown!

We’re especially proud to share that our very own Clyde Ross (plays Chester Greenwood) will be serving as Grand Marshal of the parade! 🎉

Come out and help us give the Shriners a warm Farmington welcome! 🇺🇸🎺🤹‍♂️

About us

The Cushing Stable of Farmington Maine is more than a stable, its a family. We are a small stable of 20. Well respected in our community we have been in the game of Harness Racing for many generations. The current owners of the Cushing Stable consist of Mike and Charlene Cushing of Farmington. Husband and Wife duo. Combined they have seen it all. Charlene is a tough cookie from Queens NY, best known as former leading female driver in the US and Canada. She is also one of the best outriders of her generation. Not to mention she is ALSO a associate presiding judge! She stays humble with the many training, owning and driving awards while working overnights as a RN at Franklin Memorial.

While Mike is Head of the Maine Harness Horsemen Association, fellow driver, trainer and owner. Whom as also gathered his share of awards. But for Mike, its not about the money or publicity. Its about the sport of Harness Racing, Mike Cushing has a burning passion for the sport given to him from his father, Rick Cushing.
