We provide temporary care and placement for animals in need, adoption, low-cost spay/neuter services, and volunteer opportunities. Farmington Regional Animal Shelter (FRAS) provides temporary shelter, basic medical care and adoption and transfer opportunities to the animals of the four-corners region. Receiving close to 8,000 animals each year, FRAS looks for any possible owner then evaluates each

animal before placing them up for adoption. Come on down to Shelter we have someone you need to meet!

Meet Gaspacho- our little energizer bunny! 🐾

This sweet boy is so full of life and energy and all he wants to do is play. Unfortunately, he’s spending the pivotal part of his puppy years stuck in a shelter, when he needs to be playing with a friend.

He can get along with other dogs- he’s just a little picky and would prefer someone that matches his energy.

July's Empty the Shelters was yet again a success! We had over 250 adoptions during the event, which is just incredible.
