Big girl Angel has packed her bags (okay… her imaginary bags 😄) and has OFFICIALLY been ADOPTED! 💕

She’s currently living her best life in “forever home mode” — demanding snacks, accepting compliments, and pretending she was in charge of the adoption process all along. 😎🐶

We’re not saying she’s spoiled… but she definitely thinks she’s royalty now. 👑✨

Meet Oreo 🖤

This handsome 6-month-old boy was born in October and got a second chance thanks to a kind Good Samaritan who brought him in before the cold set in. Since then, his foster family has given him lots of love and attention, helping him learn to trust and prepare for his forever home.

Oreo is a gentle, docile, and curious little guy. He’s mostly sleek black, with four tiny white markings—one on his chest, one in each armpit, and one on his belly—like hidden little surprises. He’s great with the litter box, enjoys playing with other kittens, and absolutely loves his cat tree.

While new things can make him a bit nervous at first, Oreo warms up quickly and shows his sweet, affectionate side. He’s comfortable being picked up and even doesn’t mind being handled while he’s eating—he’s just that easygoing once he feels safe.

Oreo is ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to grow and thrive 💛

Meet Nyx

Nyx is the most reserved of her littermates, with a calm and thoughtful nature that makes her extra special. She has a sweet way of sneaking up and silently climbing into your lap, where she’ll settle in and happily snooze for long, undisturbed stretches. While she does enjoy playtime, Nyx is also wonderfully independent and content to do her own thing. She’s the perfect match for someone who appreciates a gentle, low‑key companion with just the right touch of playfulness.

May Is Pet Cancer Awareness Month 💜

This May, Last Hope Animal Rescue is helping spread awareness about one of the leading health threats facing our beloved pets: cancer.

According to Petco Love, 1 in 4 dogs and 1 in 5 cats will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. Early detection can make a life-saving difference.

🐾 10 Warning Signs of Cancer in Dogs & Cats
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Enlarging or changing lumps
• Abdominal swelling
• Chronic weight loss
• Ongoing vomiting or diarrhea
• Bad oral odor
• Unexplained bleeding
• Persistent cough
• Lameness or limping
• Straining to urinate

If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule a veterinary visit as soon as possible. Early intervention can improve treatment outcomes and quality of life.

Cancer doesn’t just affect pets — it affects the families who love them. During Pet Cancer Awareness Month, we encourage everyone to:

✨ WINNIE IS HOME ✨

Our sweet girl Winnie has officially found her forever family, and we couldn’t be happier for her. 🐾💜

From rescue to foster to finally home, Winnie’s journey was filled with love every step of the way. A huge thank you to her amazing foster for caring for her, loving her, and helping her gain the confidence and comfort she needed while waiting for the perfect match. Foster homes truly change lives. 🏡

And to Winnie’s new family — thank you for opening your hearts and home to this precious little girl. We know she’s going to be spoiled with love and cuddles for the rest of her days. 🥹🐶
