Our shelter is at max capacity, and we desperately need help from our community to keep going. With an overwhelming number of animals in our care we are in urgent need of adopters to give these animals the homes they deserve.
💔 Every kennel is full, and every day, more animals are coming in. Without your help, we can’t continue to save lives.

🎉 100+ Days and Still Waiting... Meet Katana! 🐾
This sweet, spunky girl has been at our shelter for over 100 days, and we just can’t understand why.

🐶 Katana is a 6-year-old bundle of joy who LOVES to play and has the happiest tail wags around. She’s social, fun-loving, and gets along well with other dogs — she’s ready to be someone’s loyal best friend.

💖 She's past the puppy stage but still full of energy and personality. Whether it's a game of fetch, a walk in the park, or just hanging out on the couch, Katana is up for it.

She deserves more than life behind kennel doors. She deserves a family, a yard, and love every single day.

🎆 July 4th Pet Safety Tips 🎆
Independence Day is a time for celebration—but the noise and commotion can be scary for our pets. Fireworks, crowds, and unfamiliar smells can easily overwhelm them. Here’s how to keep your furry family members safe and sound:

🐾 Keep Pets Indoors: Fireworks can frighten even the calmest pets. Keep them inside, where it’s quieter and more secure.

📅 Did You Know? July 5th is one of the busiest days for shelters across the country, with many pets turning up lost after fireworks. Let’s work together to keep them safe and at home where they belong.

🏡 Create a Cozy Retreat: Set up a quiet, comfy space with their bed, toys, and a few treats. A familiar spot helps them feel safe.

🎶 Distract & Comfort: Try toys, puzzle feeders, or calming music or white noise to mask the sounds of fireworks.

🆔 Check Their ID: Ensure your pet’s collar tags are up to date and consider microchipping if you haven’t already. It’s the best way to reunite if they escape.

🚫 Watch the Menu: BBQs are delicious for us but dangerous for pets. Keep chocolate, grapes, onions, bones, and alcohol far out of reach.

😌 Stay Chill: Pets look to us for cues. Stay calm and reassuring - they’ll feel more relaxed if you do too.

🐕 Get That Energy Out: Exercise your pets earlier in the day so they’re more likely to nap through the evening’s noise.

In just 3 days, our small shelter has nearly reached full capacity -and with summer right around the corner, we’re seeing a surge in dog intakes, especially larger dogs who are sadly being overlooked.
